Have Your Say: Shaping Scotland’s new Volunteer Development Network

Book event

Do you coordinate, support, organise or manage volunteers as part of your CLD role? If so, we’d love you to join us for an upcoming online workshop and help shape Scotland’s new Volunteer Development Network.

The CLD Standards Council is working in partnership with Volunteer Scotland to create an opportunity for CLD practitioners to influence the development of this new network from the outset.

The session will bring members together to share experiences of working with volunteers, explore the challenges and opportunities you are seeing in practice, and consider what meaningful peer support, networking and shared learning could look like.

By taking part, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • share your experiences of volunteer development and management
  • connect and learn with other CLD practitioners
  • explore how a new network could provide useful peer support
  • help define the network’s purpose and priorities
  • influence how members can participate and contribute in the future

You don’t need to have ‘volunteer management’ in your job title. If supporting volunteers forms part of your wider CLD role, your experience and insight are just as valuable.

We’d really encourage CLD Standards Council members working with volunteers to register and join the conversation.
