Have your say in the National CLD Workforce Survey

The National CLD Workforce Survey is now open and we encourage all CLD practitioners, employers, stakeholders and volunteers to take part and complete the survey.

The purpose of the survey is to capture workforce data, building on the findings from the last national survey conducted in 2018.

Take part in the survey

The survey includes a range of topics including:

  • staff and volunteer numbers
  • CLD activity
  • qualifications and professional development
  • career pathways and workforce challenges

The findings will help us help us better understand and support the workforce moving forward.

The survey is being delivered by Rocket Science, an independent research company commissioned to undertake this work. Any communications about the survey will come directly from them.

We encourage you to share the survey with your networks – the more responses we receive, the more we will know.

How long is the survey open?

The survey will be open for approximately eight weeks closing at the end of February. Early responses are encouraged to ensure the your responses are counted.

Who should complete the survey?

When completing the survey, you will be asked to select a category that best describes you. Those are:

  • a paid CLD practitioner
  • a CLD volunteer
  • an organisation that employs or manages CLD practitioners
  • an organisation with an interest in CLD (for example, colleges, universities or training providers

You may complete the survey more than once if you represent more than one category.
