Professional Induction Programme 

The Professional Induction Programme, created by volunteers from the CLD Standards Council Professional Learning Committee, welcomed three new cohorts in 2024/25. 46 members registered for the programme and 25 have completing the course.

The programme introduces members of the CLD Standards Council to the purpose and functions of the Council and what is expected of membership based on its professional standards. Each participant is allocated a mentor to help guide them through it, and each mentor has extensive experience as a member of the CLD Standards Council. 

Highlights

  • Members completed 1,320.5 hours of Professional Learning across all Standards Council activities, contributed by 595 members
  • 54% PIP completion rate

Professional Learning Grants

A record amount of funding was awarded to Professional Learning Networks across Scotland to support CLD professional learning activities.
