CLD Standards Council recognised qualifications

To become a registered member of the CLD Standards Council an applicant must have achieved one of the degree level qualifications that we recognise. Note that you do not need to have a recognised qualification to become a registered Associate member.

Qualifications from other parts of the UK and Ireland

Professional (higher education) qualifications from other parts of the UK and Ireland are recognised for registration as long as the programme of study has been professionally validated/approved by the:

  • NYA (England)
  • ETS Wales
  • Joint ETS for Northern Ireland and Ireland or the All Ireland Endorsement Body for Community Work Education and Training (AIEB)

If your qualification is not listed

If you cannot identify your qualification on the lists, you can submit your qualification evidence with your Registered Member application, and if we do not recognise the qualification, we will consider you for Associate membership status. You will receive the same member benefits as an Associate or Registered member.
