Looking ahead - 2026/2027
- Continue to engage with National Strategic CLD Group on how we collectively seek to address the recommendations from the Independent Review of CLD.
- Undertake a committee recruitment campaign to fill recent vacancies across all 4 committees.
- Continue to lead the Developing the CLD Workforce & Standards group to publish a National CLD Workforce plan
- Work with our colleagues across FE and HE Institutions to improve our data collection and reporting on CLD programmes and student demographics.
- Continue to improve the CLD Standards Council Governance and corporate reporting
- Work with key stakeholders to continue to build awareness of CLD as a valued career choice.
