Information and communications technology

Education Scotland will ensure that Council staff have fit for purpose ICT systems and resources.

The Council staff will comply with all the ICT policies and procedures of Education Scotland. 

The Council will develop and implement a communications strategy in line with its overall corporate and business plans and objectives.

The Council will maintain a separate identity , including web domain, website and email address.

Both Education Scotland and the Council will agree mechanisms to ensure advance notice of all communications, public statements, publications, public relations and social media activity which comment on or refer to the functions of the other party.

The Council and Education Scotland will work together to take advantage of opportunities for the cross promotion of initiatives as appropriate.
