Welcome to Growing the Learning Culture, 2025 - the latest edition of the Community Learning and Development (CLD) Standards Council’s national statement and framework for action to support CLD practitioners’ professional learning and development.
This edition reaffirms our vision and principles and sets out the refreshed ambitions.
It also includes an updated framework for action to support the continued growth of the learning culture, with actions for the Standards Council and other key stakeholders, and recommendations on how to assess progress.
It is intended to be a practical resource. Whether you are a CLD practitioner, employer, learning provider, policy maker or funder, we hope that you find it useful in developing your plans for CLD professional learning and development.
