How will we know that the ambitions of Growing the Learning Culture are being achieved?

To assist with this process guidance is begin developed to assist each of the stakeholders to review how effectively they are implementing the key actions.

This guidance is also intended to support the consistent application of measure and indicates for workforce development and facilitate a coherent and evidence-based overview of the nature and quality of professional learning for community learning and development in Scotland.

How will we know that the key actions are being effectively taken forward by the relevant stakeholders?

The timing and frequency of reviewing progress will be tied to the review processes associated with monitoring of the proposed Workforce Development Strategy and reporting on CLD Partnership Plans.

For the moment, a review every 3 year is proposed. 

How frequently will we review the ambitions of Growing the Learning Culture and their impact?

The CLD Standards Council will take overall responsibility to encourage stakeholders to report progress in implementing the key actions.  This will be done on an annual basis, linked to CLD plan reporting timelines.  The timing of reviews and subsequent reporting should be linked to the current evaluation processes and based on existing measures and indicators wherever possible.

As the proposals for Workforce Development embodied within the Learning For All. For Life. report are actioned, then associated processes for evaluation and learning can be integrated into the evaluation of progress on achieving a learning culture across Community Learning and Development.
